Rishikesh

We arrived Delhi Sunday. After a long flight and a prepaid taxi trip, we arrived the hotel safe as well. The Hotel was supernice, typical Indian I guess. The area we stayed in was OK. We went to town and found a very nice local restaurant with great Indian food. After we had eaten we went to a tourist office and made plans for the rest of out trip. 

Right now we are in Rishikesh, yoga capital of India. Further on we will go to Mussoorie, a hill station like Shimla were we thinking of going originaly. Then Amritsar to see the golden tempel and the closing of the border. We look forward to that. Then back to Delhi and further into Rajastan via Agra and Taj Mahal.

India is, of course, very different from Norway. Everybody are very nice and helpful. The faces are smiling towards us all the time. We are like rock stars and people want to take pictures of us all the time. I guess some of them want to trick us, and I guess they do sometimes too, but we haven\t experienced bad things. The country is full of colors, sounds and smells. The traffic is amazing. All in all a super country to visit.
